Lawrence Gordon (born March 25, 1936) is an American film and television producer. He has been involved in the entertainment industry since the early 1970s and has produced many successful movies, including Die Hard (1988), Predator (1987), and 48 Hrs. (1982).
Gordon started his career as an executive at American International Pictures. He moved to Universal Pictures in the 1970s and eventually formed his own production company, Lawrence Gordon Productions, in 1979.
Throughout his career, Gordon has worked with many high-profile directors and actors, including John McTiernan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Eddie Murphy, and Sylvester Stallone.
In addition to producing films, Gordon has also produced television shows, including The Outer Limits (1995-2002) and The Watcher (1995-1997).
Gordon has received numerous awards and nominations for his work as a producer, including multiple Academy Award nominations. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California.
